PONT

Mbale Conf with Welsh Flag

PONT (meaning ‘Partnerships Overseas Networking Trust’ and ‘bridge’) has an eight year history of engagement with Uganda.

Originally set up to link the town of Pontypridd with the Ugandan town of Mbale, PONT now supports links between many individuals, professionals and organisations in Rhondda Cynon Taf (and beyond), and their counterparts in the Mbale region of Uganda.

PONT’s aim as a charity is to build community development at grassroots level and work with local partners in Uganda to tackle poverty sustainably.
